Time of issue : 2024-03-13 13:45:18
China is the world's largest luggage manufacturer and exporter, ranking first in the world in terms of industrial scale, total production volume, and total export volume. As people's demand for luggage continues to increase, my country's luggage exports are also growing. The main destinations for luggage exports are the United States, Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, France and other countries.
In order to increase order volume, more and more luggage factories are engaged in foreign trade and dealing with foreigners. When exporting luggage to other countries, product quality should be controlled and the relevant import laws and regulations of other countries must be met. Different countries often have different quality standards for luggage imports. For example, the European Union has issued bans on azo dyes, pentachlorophenol, formaldehyde, hexavalent chromium, heavy metals, etc., requiring luggage products to provide strict chemical content testing certificates. So, do you know what quality inspection tests are usually required for luggage export?
First, functional testing.
Functional testing is to verify each function of the luggage product. According to the functional test cases, test one by one to check whether the product meets the functions required by the user. The primary function of a bag is to carry items. The load-bearing capacity is mainly reflected in the load-bearing capacity of the box, straps, handles, side straps, etc. It is necessary to test the key accessories on the bag.
Second, physical testing.
Physical testing is to test the resistance and weight resistance of the luggage. It also tests the physical properties of the applied materials, such as tear strength, stitching strength, color fastness to rubbing, aging resistance, abrasion resistance, color sublimation, color migration fastness, etc. Series of tests.
Third, chemical testing.
Chemical testing generally refers to whether the materials used in bags can meet environmental protection requirements and needs to be tested according to the standards of each country. Environmental testing items for chemical hazardous substances that need to be provided when exporting luggage to European and American countries mainly include azo dyes, heavy metals, formaldehyde, phthalates, organotin compounds, flame retardants, alkylphenols, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, etc. Generally, a third requirement is required. Third-party authoritative testing agencies provide quality inspection reports.
